MUDAC's Solar Movement Festival, Lausanne, Switzerland, until September 21
Miles Gertler together with his collective Common Accounts have constructed Have a Nice Day . The installation is a solar canopy: an interior sun apparatus suspended in the museum. Animated by motion sensors, it constitutes an artificial sun, inviting visitors to bathe under its warmth, sound, and light frequencies.
Have A Nice Day is being exhibited in the solar movement art festival . A festival devoted to using art, technology and advocacy to make solar energy the default source of power worldwide.
