Vincent Barré and Pierre Creton are in conversation with Nicholas Elliott after the premiere of their most recent film, 7 Walks with Mark Brown, 2024. The interview discusses their filmmaking process, touching on how blended their lives and practices are.
The film features the paleobotanist Mark Brown, who leads Barré and Creton on expeditions to seven sites in Normandy in search of native plants. It is a celebration of nature, but also an awareness of the dangers to these marvels of life on Earth. The film premiered in Canada at TIFF and the Cinematheque Vancouver in 2025. It has been released on Blu-ray and is available online.
