Review: Nature of Nature at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia

Amongst the many photographs included in Nature of Nature - the latest retrospective exhibition of Thaddeus Holownia - its most recent inclusion has prompted the strongest response.
Titled Icarus, Falling of Birds (2016), eight staggered columns depict rows of 200 deceased creatures, all having succumbed to a New Brunswick natural gas flare in 2013.
Nature of Nature runs from February 4 through May 28, 2017 at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.
