Miles Gertler is the recipient of The League Prize 2023 awarded by The Architectural League, New York. The annual competition was established in 1981 to recognize visionary work by young practitioners of design and architecture. This year the entrants were invited to examine the Uncomfortable, from climate change to labor practices, the sources of discomfort demand both critical reflection and collective imagination. The recipients of this award were chosen by a jury and the selected work is to be presented in lectures, digital media, and exhibited in June 2023.
