The Generals of the Daughters of the American Revolution by Richard Avedon, from the Jane Corkin Collection, is on view in Richard Avedon: Immortal—Portraits of Time Passing, 1951–2004 at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Montréal. First exhibited in 1982 at Jane Corkin Gallery in the first solo exhibition of Richard Avedon in Canada.
Curated by Paul Roth, Richard Avedon: Immortal focuses on aging—offering a compelling perspective on the passage of time. The exhibition is on view in Montréal through August 9; in Toronto at The Image Centre at Toronto Metropolitan University from September 9 to December 5, 2026.
